sup guys. i made a post in the introdutions section, but in short, i play 40k and have been for a while. i've been looking to get into fantasy but am stumped for which army to choose. i play IG and slowly getting into space wolves. so i kinda wanna change my army from being human lol. and the thing is i would want to keep a variety of armies in the club and not choose one that 2 or more people already field.

i was thinking maybe vampire counts and i wanna see what other people have to say. see you in store soon!

Vamps are good, Viv has some vamps, but don't think I've seen any others around the place. What I've mostly been seeing so far is Elves, all 3 types, Dwarfs, Tomb Kings, Orcs & Goblins (what I have) Warriors of Chaos, Skaven, Lizardmen and Empire.
So theres a pretty good variety, I'm sure what ever you pick will fit in

I'm about to start a Dark Elf army myself

VC are pretty cool; but like Lizards and Dark Elves and Daemons, you can make a list that's just no fun to play against for being too tough.

Don't break the list and you'll be fine.

Maybe I should have played my VC in the tourney ;)

I've probably only played 5 or so games with them, so haven't really found that winning list yet. Magic is definitely i huge part of VC and its a pain playing against a list tailored against VC, and/or magic denial lists.

I collected them simply because undead, vampires, that whole Nosferatu thing really appeals to me. Plus painting undead is fairly straight forward .. though that hasn't influenced my painting, still LOADS of them to paint!

Heh. Lizards didn't help me too much, despite my apparently overpowered Engine.

People will cry OP at anything dude. Hydras are OP, VC raising more units is OP, Hell Pit Abomination is OP, ASF for High Elves is OP...
